Our story starts in the military, where Carl honed his skills in communications. During his time in the military, he specialized in troubleshooting electrical and communication systems, including phone lines, under challenging conditions. Carl proudly served during the Gulf War, where his roles required precision and innovation in solving complex problems.
A Legacy of Expertise
Shaped by Years of Expertise
After transitioning from military service, Carl obtained an electrician license and expanded expertise with a degree in Electronic Engineering (B.A.S.) and a degree in Business (M.B.A). This unique blend of technical and managerial skills led to a career with IBM, focusing on low-voltage wiring and addressing various electrical needs.
Following this, Carl started his new path as an electrical contractor, relying on his electrical troubleshooting and attentiveness to customers wants, and needs in both residential and commercial electrical environments—from wiring of custom homes, local restaurants, and commercial buildings housing all types of businesses. This extensive background laid the groundwork for helping to start Ampuls Electric.

Kendrick, the focused and driving half of Ampulse Electric, who in a short amount of time had established himself as one of the premier and highly recommended residential electrical contractors in the Phoenix and surrounding area. Kendrick was someone who Carl knew would be the perfect Pulse to Amp up an Electrical Company with. Kendrick proudly served in the Marine Corps and continues to serve in the Army Reserves. Kendrick’s military background enriches Ampulse Electric with discipline and dedication, complementing their technical and business acumen. This made coming together and establishing Ampulse Electric something that just had to be done.
